Inside³ ball maze Mortal Phantom - Cthulhu takes you into the dark, dark world of Inside³
Inside³ Ball Maze Mortal Phantom – Cthulhu is one of a fascinating series of blind cube-shaped ball mazes. Players must face everything they've ever feared - darkness, loneliness, despair. Let the ball roll from the small window to the center of the cube. Use the engraved plans to carefully orient yourself in the puzzle. Guide the ball through curves, angles, dead ends and traps along various routes to the goal. Only the most skilled players make it to the other side.
Inside³ Mortal - Cthulu is the most difficult dice of all! No card to help you, no opening the cube when you're stuck, just pure black despair. Give it a try! But if you go insane, don't say you weren't warned!
12 different difficulty levels - from very easy to completely impossible
The Inside³ series contains 12 levels of difficulty in 3 different series, from child's play to incredibly difficult.
The noVICE series is a gentle introduction to the Inside³ cube tactic - perfect for children or beginners. Learn to read the map and begin to understand that "down" is not always the quickest way to the other side.
The Zero series or 0 series requires their players to forget everything they have learned. Players advance from EASY, REGULAR and MEAN - straight to VISCIOUS, AWFUL and MORTAL. Minimal cards, maximum traps and wrong turns await you in the dark. The last of the dice, MORTAL, doesn't even have a card…. and cannot be opened.
The Phantom series contains an additional sphere enclosed in the labyrinth. Why? To trick your senses and confuse your orientation. The ultimate cube is CTHULU - with an encoded map and a route so scary that even its developers aren't sure if anyone can solve it. Will you be the one who can do it
Game rules
-
- Choose your cube - EASY or VISCIOUS, it's up to you
- Examine the map carefully. Each embossed square represents one of the levels - remember that the way out is sometimes above you!
- Let the ball roll! (A ballpoint pen is good for toasting)
- Rotate the cube to guide the ball.
- Beware of wrong turns and traps - and try not to get stuck!
- Get to the other side, then lock the ball so that it doesn't roll away.
- Get ready for the return trip.
- You did it? Then swap the dice with a friend for a new challenge. Or take the cube apart and rearrange the levels to really rack your brains.
Where do I begin?
With 12 levels of difficulty, there are many ways to discover the world of Inside³.
Children under the age of 10 will love noVICE because the series, with its gentle learning curve, gradually introduces them to the arts of problem and puzzle solving.
Older players can also jump straight into the 0 series - the EASY, REGULAR and MEAN models keep what their name promises. Learn the movements that will help you complete the challenge, improve your time and remember - every puzzle has to be solved twice - there and back!
AWFUL, VISCIOUS and the Phantom series are recommended for fearless geniuses. Countless traps, wrong ways, claustrophobic cards (if any) and no way to open them - that's a real challenge!
Are you stuck? No problem!
If you can't do it anymore, just open your cube. A fingernail is enough for this.
The story and the future.
Inside³ is the work of the French inventor Romain-Guirec Piotte. Originally, Romain wanted to make horror films - and this dark intention lives on in Inside³. Inspired by his favorite films and books (Alien, Cube, Dungeons & Dragons, Raiders of the Lost Ark), he constructed a series of puzzle cubes that thematically deal with the concepts of getting lost, being alone and finding your way back to light.
All Inside³ puzzles are developed and manufactured in France in compliance with the highest standards. Your simple and only goal is to deliver exciting, engaging and terrifying puzzles - each with the best possible quality.
As for the future - another one has already been added to the original 12 puzzles. More are planned, with the ultimate goal of developing 216 cubes, all of which can be combined to form a giant 6x6x6 MOTHER CUBE. Although this well-kept secret is currently little more than a conspiracy theory, the seeds for a dynasty of cube puzzles have already been sown.
